Job summary

Turner & Townsend on the Gold Coast is seeking a Cost Analyst to deliver end-to-end cost management services for client projects. You will undertake detailed cost analysis, prepare reports, and participate in cost intelligence initiatives within a centralized PMO.

This role requires a degree in Construction Management or Engineering, chartered status with AIQS or RICS, and at least 3 years of cost experience; you will work three days per week on site with the client.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
• Chartered status with AIQS or RICS or equivalent.
• 3+ years cost analyst or cost management experience.
• Strong ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Understanding of project life cycle and cost estimating for infrastructure assets.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed cost analysis and reporting, reviewing costs against forecasts to identify variances.
• Deliver cost intelligence and embed it into working practices through cost analytics tools.
• Provide cost estimating and assurance for projects at various stages of the lifecycle.
• Work within a centralized PMO to build relationships with client stakeholders.
• Transfer knowledge and learnings within Turner & Townsend.
