Job summary

MooGoo Skin Care on the Gold Coast seeks a Cosmetic Compounding/Bulk Manufacturing Assistant to support our growing production site in Burleigh Heads. You will be dispensing raw materials and assisting with formulation preparation to ensure quality and consistency.

Role requires physical fitness and attention to detail; you will operate blending equipment, follow SOPs, and maintain clean, compliant production records in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a compounder, bulk mixer, blender, or similar role preferred but not essential.
• Requires physical fitness due to bending, twisting and lifting heavy raw materials.
• Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality, natural products.
• Display strong communication skills for accurate reporting and collaboration.
• Understanding of GMP, quality control standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude to set up equipment and perform in-process checks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispensing raw materials for the compounding team.
• Assist compounders with preparing and mixing raw ingredients to produce skincare formulations.
• Operate blending and compounding equipment.
• Monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring products are mixed, heated, and blended per SOPs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
• Keep records of ingredients, formulations, batch results and processes for compliance and traceability.

We require a Compounding Assistant at our recently built manufacturing site in Burleigh Heads to ensure we get our amazing products into the hands of our loyal customers around the world.

What You’ll Do:

Accurately Dispensing raw materials for the Compounding team

Assist Compounders with preparing and mixing raw ingredients to produce skincare formulations according to formulae specifications with a focus on quality and consistency.

Operate blending and compounding equipment

Assist with monitoring the manufacturing process, ensuring products are mixed, heated, and blended as required, following all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised production environment.

Keep accurate records of ingredients, formulations, batch results and processes for compliance and traceability in-line with industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a compounder, bulk mixer, blender, or in a similar role within the skincare, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food/beverage industries is preferred but not essential.

Requires physical fitness as this is a physically demanding role with frequent bending, twisting and lifting heavy raw materials

Attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality, natural products.

Displaystrong communication skillsto ensure clear and accurate reporting and collaboration

Understanding of GMP, quality control standards, and health and safety regulations.

Mechanical aptitude, with the ability to set up equipment, and perform in-process checks with attention to detail.

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
