Job summary

Freyssinet, a leading specialist contractor within the VINCI Group, seeks a Corrosion & Durability Engineer for our Sydney RES team. You will investigate deterioration, assess risk, develop remediation strategies, and support delivery of real‑world solutions across NSW infrastructure.

This role involves field inspections, working with project teams and clients, and producing technical assessments that guide long‑term asset performance and protection strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in corrosion engineering or durability.

Responsibilities

• Provide corrosion and durability engineering support across infrastructure projects.
• Assist with design, inspection, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems.
• Conduct condition assessments, asset integrity inspections, and field investigations.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering recommendations, specifications, and project documentation.
• Support project delivery through all phases from planning to close-out.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specs, and safety requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
