Job summary

Freyssinet, a VINCI Group specialist, is seeking a Corrosion & Durability Engineer to join the Sydney Remedial Engineering Services team. You will tackle corrosion, CP systems, condition assessments, remediation, and asset integrity across NSW, collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver durable, safe infrastructure.

With 3–5 years of corrosion experience and a BEng, you will inspect sites, prepare technical reports, and contribute to project delivery from planning through close-out.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of corrosion engineering experience.
• Experience in durability, infrastructure asset management, or integrity projects.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Willingness to perform site inspections and field activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide corrosion and durability engineering support across infrastructure projects.
• Assist with CP system design, installation, inspection and maintenance.
• Conduct condition assessments and asset integrity inspections.
• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, specifications, and project documentation.
• Support project delivery from planning through close-out.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the business and project teams.
