Job summary

Freyssinet, part of the VINCI group, is seeking a Corrosion & Durability Engineer to join our Sydney REMEDIAL ENGINEERING SERVICES team. You will contribute to corrosion, CP systems, condition assessments and asset integrity projects across New South Wales, working from site and collaborating with clients, contractors and project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 3–5 years in corrosion engineering, durability, remediation, asset integrity, or project engineering
• Experience on maintenance, infrastructure, asset management, or integrity-related projects
• Strong technical report-writing and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative team environment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to undertake site inspections and field activities

Responsibilities

• Provide corrosion and durability engineering support across infrastructure projects
• Assist with design, inspection, and maintenance of cathodic protection systems
• Conduct condition assessments, asset integrity inspections, and field investigations
• Prepare technical reports, recommendations, specifications, and project documentation
• Support project delivery through planning, investigation to execution and close-out
• Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, client specs, and safety requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement within the business and project teams
