Job summary

Mercor is hiring Corporate Designers for Project Style, an aesthetics project that refines AI-generated knowledge-work deliverables (decks, docs, spreadsheets, PDFs) into polished, client-ready outputs.

You will assess AI outputs for layout, typography, colour, and polish, then rework the strongest candidate with justification tied to visual evidence. Fully remote, approximately 15 hours per week at $80/hour.

Qualifications

• Background as a designer, marketing/comms professional, or knowledge-work specialist.
• Ability to spot subtle layout inconsistencies: alignment gaps, unequal card heights, dead space, margin discipline.
• You can articulate what constitutes good business deliverables in writing.

Responsibilities

• Compare AI-generated versions of same deliverable and score them across layout, spacing, typography, colour, realism, and polish.
• Take the strongest candidate and rework it to reference quality.
• Provide clear justifications tied to specific layout evidence.
• Bring design judgment to real corporate client materials.
