Nova Legal in West Perth seeks a Senior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with 4+ years' post-admission experience to join our Corporate & Commercial team. Work directly with Directors and senior lawyers, taking ownership of matters and developing a client-facing practice within a specialist firm.

You will handle equity capital markets, M&A, private equity, governance and general commercial work for ASX-listed and private clients, with increasing autonomy and strong client relationships.

Qualifikationen

• Australian law degree
• Admission as an Australian lawyer
• 4+ years' post-admission experience
• Strong experience in corporate and commercial law, with focus on schemes of arrangements, takeovers and ECM (ASX environment)
• Experience working with or advising ASX-listed companies
• Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills
• The ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The confidence to deal directly with clients and other advisers
• A willingness to take ownership and responsibility for matters
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• A collaborative approach and genuine interest in contributing to a close-knit team
• Interest in complex transactions, commercial problem-solving and direct client engagement

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer with 4+ years' post-admission experience to join our Corporate & Commercial team.

This is an opportunity for an experienced lawyer who wants to work directly with our Directors and senior lawyers, take ownership of matters and develop a strong client-facing practice within a specialist corporate law firm.

You will be involved in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

Equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, RTOs and capital raisings

Mergers and acquisitions

Private equity transactions

Corporate governance and advisory work

General commercial transactions

Strategic advice to ASX-listed and private clients

Resources and technology sector matters

About You

We are looking for a commercially-minded and capable lawyer who is ready to take the next step in their career.

You will ideally have:

An Australian law degree and admission as an Australian lawyer

4+ years' post-admission experience

Strong experience in corporate and commercial law, with a particular focus on the areas of schemes of arrangements, takeovers and ECM (in the ASX environment)

Experience working with or advising ASX-listed companies

Excellent drafting, research and analytical skills

The ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy

Strong commercial judgement and attention to detail
