Bartier Perry Pty Limited, based in Sydney CBD with flexible and remote work options, seeks an Associate lawyer with broad transactional and advisory experience to join their Corporate & Commercial team. You will work with a renowned group led by partners across diverse sectors and engage in broad commercial matters.

The role involves client liaison, drafting, negotiations and complex transactions, with structured career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years post-admission experience in commercial and corporate law with drafting, negotiation and advisory skills.
• Experience across technology, privacy, IP matters and some M&A, governance or restructuring.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Strong academic results.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workflow.

Responsibilities

• Commercial contracting across technology, privacy, IP, procurement and supply chain matters.
• Corporate restructuring, succession planning and strategic regulatory advice for growth-stage and established businesses.
• Mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments and complex business transactions.
• Shareholder, partnership and governance advisory work for privately owned businesses and professional services firms.
• Client liaison and day-to-day progression of files under senior supervision.
