Job summary

Allura Partners, an Australian recruitment consultancy, is seeking a Test Analyst for a 12-month day-rate contract within a major bank's core migration program in New South Wales. You will drive validation testing across customer journeys, processes, and mock migrations, coordinating with internal teams and vendors to provide clear progress updates for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Strong business validation testing background.
• Test governance discipline: requirements to test case traceability, structured execution, defect triage and evidence management to audit standard.
• Hands on experience with enterprise test management tooling, particularly the HP ALM and OpenText ALM family, and integration with Jira.
• Reporting capability suited to a SteerCo and Program Manager audience.
• Communication and stakeholder engagement strong enough to drive outcomes across business, delivery and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute business validation testing across end to end banking processes, covering customer journeys, operational processes, reconciliation activities and mock migration cycles.
• Maintain requirements to test case traceability, structured test execution and audit quality evidence throughout every cycle.
• Run defect triage and manage defects through to resolution with delivery teams and external vendors.
• Produce execution and readiness reporting for Program Manager and SteerCo audiences, including migration decision support and go live readiness assessment.
• Build reusable test collateral and libraries for future cycles, and identify automation opportunities including Jira to ALM integration.
