ACCIONA is seeking a lead role to drive Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance across major infrastructure projects and set the standard for safe heavy vehicle transport on site. The position will report to the Director, Health and Safety and operate from the project office in Metro Melbourne, with responsibilities spanning framework development, audits and training.

You will own high‑risk transport operations, coordinate with logistics, construction, procurement, plant and fleet teams, plus

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in logistics, transport or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and CoR duties.
• Experience on infrastructure, construction or resource projects.
• Audit, investigation and contractor compliance experience.
• Current driver licence and Construction Induction (White Card).

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain CoR compliance frameworks, procedures and management plans.
• Monitor compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law and contract requirements.
• Audit transport providers, subcontractors and logistics activities.
• Manage CoR risks, including fatigue, load restraint, mass and dimension controls.
• Investigate transport incidents and breaches and coordinate corrective actions.
• Review transport management plans and support contractor prequalification.
• Report compliance performance to project leadership and promote a safe transport culture.
