Job summary

Anglicare WA in East Perth is seeking a Coordinator to lead and oversee a multidisciplinary team delivering counselling and case management services across the metropolitan region. You will supervise staff, manage performance and support continuous improvement while maintaining a small caseload.

The role demands a degree in Social Work or Psychology with five years' post-qualification experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of family, violence, and child protection laws.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within the Legal sector, including program management, team supervision and service delivery.
• Sound understanding of family and domestic violence, child protection, risk assessment and relevant legislation.

Anglicare WA counselling and case management services supports separated parents and their children to navigate family change, strengthen relationships, and achieve positive outcomes through high-quality, person-centred support. Working within a collaborative and values-driven environment, our team delivers a range of services designed to support families during separation and beyond.

As the Coordinator, you will provide leadership, supervision and operational oversight to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality Anglicare WA counselling and case managementprograms across the metropolitan region. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will support service excellence, staff development, compliance, and continuous improvement while maintaining a small Counselling caseload.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and support the team to deliver programs that span the Anglicare WA counselling,case management services and family and domestic violence space.
• Provide supervision, coaching and performance development to team members, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Coordinate service delivery, referrals and waitlists to ensure timely access to support for clients.
• Maintain a small counsellingcaseload.
• Drive quality, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, including risk management and case review processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, community partners and external service providers.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week) based in East Perth. The role is worked across Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, with a Tuesday evening shift from 12:30pm to 8:30pm.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Tertiary qualification - Degree in Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years' post-qualification experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within the Legal sector, including program management, team supervision and service delivery.
• Strong knowledge of Legal practice,child-focused practice, and supporting families experiencing separation.
• Sound understanding of family and domestic violence, child protection, risk assessment, and relevantlegislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and support high-performing teams.

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year; and a WA Working with Children Check.
