Job summary

VMCH is seeking a dedicated Program Coordinator in Shepparton to lead and coordinate disability services, combining group and 1:1 direct care. You will support team leaders, shape person-centred programs and help participants access meaningful community activities.

The role requires experience in disability or related human services, a Certificate IV Disability, strong leadership, excellent communication, and problem-solving, with a current First Aid/CPR and a valid Victorian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating disability, respite, community or related human services programs.
• Certificate IV Disability or equivalent.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Sound knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS, legislation and best practice.
• Well-developed communication, problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate and a valid Victorian Driver Licence.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and values-driven professional to provide leadership, coordinate high-quality services, and help shape innovative, person-centred programs.

This position is full time, commencement and finish times will be flexible depending on the need of the business.

About you

You will be experienced working with people with a disability to provide activities that are engaging for the participants.

• Experience in coordinating disability, respite, community or related human services programs.
• Certificate IV Disability or similar, experience in an education highly regarded.
• Strong leadership, relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound knowledge of the disability sector, including NDIS, relevant legislation and current best practice.
• Well-developed communication, problem-solving and complaint resolution skills.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate and a valid Victorian Driver Licence.
