Job summary

Mount Alexander Shire Council seeks a Coordinator Community Safety and Amenity to lead essential regulatory and safety services in Central Victoria. The role oversees animal management, school crossing supervision, planning enforcement and local law activities.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a related discipline, and/or extensive experience within a compliance or regulatory environment.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a compliance, regulatory, enforcement or local government environment.
• Strong knowledge of local government legislation, regulatory frameworks, compliance processes and enforcement practices.
• Proven experience leading and developing teams, including development, mentoring and workforce planning.
• Well-developed investigative skills, including evidence gathering, report writing and managing complex compliance matters.

The role
