Job summary

The Sporting Globe Bar and Grill in Bendigo is seeking passionate Cooks and Chefs to join our kitchen roster. You will work across stations, following our recipes and plating guides to deliver high-quality meals on time.

We prize teamwork, strong work ethic and a commitment to brand standards, OH&S, and food hygiene. W e offer a rotating 7-day roster, career progression, and a supportive team backed by Head Office.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in hotel, restaurant, or pub environment.
• Passion for providing exceptional quality food and guest satisfaction.
• Commitment to brand standards, OH&S, and food hygiene procedures.
• Energetic attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
• Availability across a rotating 7-day roster with flexible school timetables or second jobs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure meals are cooked to perfection per recipes and plating guides, served on time, and of highest quality.
• Manage kitchen operations with head chef, including staff allocation and general kitchen management.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, following food preparation and cleanliness guidelines.
• Showcase culinary skills across all kitchen stations with attention to detail and adherence to standards.
• Keep kitchen and stock areas clean and organized while prioritizing OH&S and food hygiene.
