MCKKRS Pty Ltd. is hiring 2 full-time cooks to join our Sydney Metro kitchen operations, including Harris Park area. You will prepare and cook meals to our signature menu, ensuring quality and presentation.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Cookery (or equivalent) and at least 12 months of experience, with strong knowledge of food safety and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Australian citizens and permanent residents only.

• Prepare and cook meals as per the signature menu and specials as required
• Prepare a-la carte requested food items to meet patrons’ dietary requirements
• Executes food production as per the preparation, nutrition and presentation standards of the brand
• Efficient sequencing of the food order and oversee their timely delivery to the floor
• Attend to the detail for presentation of entrees, mains and side dishes
• Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Ensure that inventory of supplies is completed regularly, and items are in-stock.
• Ensure that deliveries are stored in their proper place and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with the Chef
• Contribute to initiatives to enhance the quality of service and kitchen productivity.

Job Description

Pista House Harris Park specialises in Indian and Arab cuisine encompassing freshly prepared delicacies with high order flavour, nutrition and presentation. We are currently seeking 2 x Cooks to be part of our kitchen team across multiple locations within Sydney Metro, including Harris Park NSW. These full-time role have a salary of $80K to $85k plus super dependent on the skills brought to the business.

You should ideally have a Certificate IV in Cookery or equivalent work experience. You should at least 12 months of proven industry experience. You should demonstrate sound culinary knowledge and skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

This role is open to Australian Citizen and Permanent Residents. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
