TGI Fridays in Australia is seeking cooks to join our Friday’s Family. If you love the heat of the kitchen, thrive under pressure, and know how to bring the Friday’s fun to every dish, keep reading.

You’ll own a station, prepare and present menu items to TGIF standards, check ingredients, operate ovens and grills, and maintain a clean, food-safe kitchen. Competitive pay and great benefits await in a fast-paced team.

• Previous experience as a Cook

Responsibilities

• Owns a station—Fry, Broiler, Plate Nacho, Sauté— it’s your own stage
• Preparing, cooking and presenting menu items to a high TGIF standard
• Checking ingredients and food products for quality and freshness
• Operating ovens, grills, fryers
• Portioning and plating meals in line with recipes and presentation standards
• Preparing meals to accommodate dietary and guest needs
• Ensuring food is stored correctly and maintained at appropriate temperature
• Actioning food preparation, storage and stock control
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe TGIF kitchen
• Working closely with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and the broader kitchen team during service
• Supporting team members where required
• Assisting with menu preparation and kitchen planning as needed

Salary:

$75,000 to $85,000 per year
