TGIF Fridays in Melbourne is looking for a Cook to join our Friday’s Family. You’ll craft menu items to a high TGIF standard, operate ovens and grills, and work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team during service.

What You’ll Be Owning:

• Owns a station—Fry, Broiler, Plate Nacho, Sauté— it’s your own stage
• Preparing, cooking and presenting menu items to a high TGIF standard
• Checking ingredients and food products for quality and freshness
• Operating ovens, grills, fryers
• Portioning and plating meals in line with recipes and presentation standards
• Preparing meals to accommodate dietary and guest needs
  Ensuring food is stored correctly and maintained at appropriate temperature
• Actioning food preparation, storage and stock control
• Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe TGIF kitchen
• Working closely with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and the broader kitchen team during service
• Supporting team members where required
• Assisting with menu preparation and kitchen planning as needed

Who You Are:

• Previous experience as a Cook

Salary:

$75,000 to $85,000 per year
