Job summary

Palliative Care SA is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team in the Barossa Fleurieu region. You will prepare nutritious meals for patients, ensure adherence to food safety standards, and support meal services as part of a multidisciplinary team.

With flexible rostering across a regional health environment, you will contribute to patient wellbeing and staff welfare, delivering high-quality meals and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook in healthcare settings.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and safe food handling practices.
• Ability to adapt meals to meet dietary needs (texture, allergies, culture).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present meals in line with menus and dietary guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and infection control standards.
