Qualifications

• Previous professional experience as a Cook or Chef.
• Commercial kitchen experience highly desirable.
• Experience in a high-volume hospitality environment will be viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to required quality and presentation standards
• Complete food preparation efficiently before and during service
• Work effectively within a high-volume commercial kitchen
• Maintain consistent portions, taste and presentation
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
• Maintain clean, organized and efficient kitchen work areas
• Assist with stock handling, rotation and ingredient preparation
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service teams
• Prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
• Reduce food waste through appropriate preparation and storage
• Follow directions from senior kitchen staff
• Contribute to a positive and professional workplace culture
