Job summary

Australian Agricultural Company (AACo) seeks a dedicated Station hand to join our Eva Downs team in the Barkly Tablelands. This on-site role involves cattle mustering, drafted movements, vehicle operation, and daily station maintenance.

The role requires livestock experience, a current driver's license, and a willingness to work safely with horses, motorbikes, and feed distribution. We offer housing, meals, and seasonal transfer opportunities.

Qualifications

• Horse riding experience required.
• Current driver’s licence required.
• Livestock handling experience preferred.
• Q Fever vaccination preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Mustering, drafting, and trucking of cattle.

We are looking for a talented Station hand to join our team in Eva Downs. Eva Downs is situated approximately 380 km northeast from its nearest town, Tennant Creek. It is set in the hub of the Northern Territory’s Barkly Tablelands on the historic Barkly Stock Route.
