Job summary

Harvest Road Group is hiring two cooks for The Kooyong Site in Western Australia. You will prepare hearty meals for on-site staff on a 10:4 roster, starting early to feed workers at Koojan Downs Feedlot and New Norcia Farm as part of a remote beef supply operation.

The role requires previous commercial kitchen experience, a driver’s license, and the ability to work in a close-knit, remote community. On-site accommodation is provided along with a strong focus on hygiene and food safety.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, camp kitchen, station cook, or similar remote catering role would be highly regarded.
• Must have a driver’s license and own transport.
• Ability to work a roster with early starts and long days.

Responsibilities

• Pre-planning and cooking nutritious meals for the agriculture teams (breakfast, smoko, lunch and dinner).
• Coordinate meal planning to accommodate workforce numbers and dietary needs.

This is a purpose-built site which houses staff from Koojan Downs Feedlot, Koojan Downs Farm and New Norcia Farm which are part of the integrated beef supply chain for Harvest Road. This integrated beef supply chain ranges from north to southwest of Western Australia and is based on best-practice ecological planning and animal welfare management. **Opportunity:*** We are currently seeking two enthusiastic and energetic **Cooks** to join our expanding business.
