Job summary

NHS Highland in Invergordon invites applications for a 25-hour per week cook post in our busy kitchen at County Community Hospital. You will work varied hours from 07:30 to 18:00 across a 5/7 rotation, supporting the Senior Cook with patient and staff meals and stepping in when needed.

Applicants should have previous cooking experience in a similar environment and hold City & Guilds/SCPTVEC/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Job description

A 25hr cook post working a variety of hours between 07.30am 6.00pm Monday Sunday (5/7 on a rotational basis) has arisen within our busy kitchen in County Community Hospital, Invergordon to work as part of a team assisting the Senior Cook in the preparation of all patient and staff meals assuming full responsibility for the running of the catering service in the absence of the Senior Cook.
