Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking a confident and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to join the Skye and Lochalsh area within the Skye Lochalsh & Wester Ross Community Mental Health team. You will work in an Integrated Health and Social Care setting, carrying a caseload and delivering assessments, care planning and reviews.

A full current driving licence and access to your own car for business purposes are essential. A relocation package may be offered.

• Act as a caseload holder for patients in Wester Ross.
• Demonstrate a broad range of clinical therapeutic work.
• Able to work independently and within the multi-disciplinary team.

• Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro‑ratio basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
