Minor Hotels ANZ’s Oaks Melbourne on St Kilda Road is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a part-time/casual basis. You will prepare ingredients, assist with cooking and plating, and help deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Applicants should have at least 12 months in a similar kitchen role, knowledge of cooking procedures, and strong teamwork.

Job Description

Oaks Melbourne on St Kilda Road

are looking for skilled and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a (part-time/casual) basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts scheduled across breakfast and dinner periods

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $27.97 per hour

Saturday: $34.96 per hour

Sunday: $41.96 per hour
