Job summary

Uniting Hawkesbury is seeking a reliable Cook to prepare nutritious meals for residents, meeting dietary requirements and quality standards, within a supportive team.

This permanent part-time role offers stable hours with an above-award hourly rate, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow within residential aged care, contributing to residents’ wellbeing and daily experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience within hospitality, healthcare or aged care.
• Current Australian working rights.
• COVID-19 vaccination requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals that meet residents' dietary requirements.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen presentation.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen, care and site teams to deliver an excellent dining experience.
• Support menu delivery while accommodating individual dietary needs and preferences.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with kitchen operations as required.
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming dining environment for residents.
