Minor Hotels is recruiting a casual Cook for Avani Adelaide Residences. The role supports the kitchen team in preparing, cooking and plating meals to high standards, while maintaining cleanliness and WHS compliance.

The position requires proven cooking experience, knowledge of cooking procedures, and flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays. Immediate start available in Adelaide.

Avani Adelaide Residences are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team on a casual basis.

This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to a consistently high standard, and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare ingredients and assist with the cooking and plating of meals.
• Cook a variety of dishes in line with menu standards and guest expectations.
• Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
• Maintain proper food storage, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
• Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.

Shift Details (subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts scheduled across breakfast and dinner periods
• Immediate start available

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

• Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour
• Saturday: $40.62 per hour
• Sunday: $47.39 per hour
