REMA Tip Top is seeking an experienced Scraper/Mechanical Technician to join our field service team across multiple sites in Australia. FIFO from Perth WA is available, with competitive rates and site allowances.

You will play a key role in maintaining conveyor belt systems and related components in a mining environment. Essential qualifications include Australian working rights, mandatory safety tickets, a White Card, and 3+ years’ experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical

Qualifications

• Valid Australian working rights.
• Confined Spaces, Working at Heights, and Gas Test Atmospheres tickets - mandatory.
• White Card.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Mechanical Maintenance Fitter, ideally in a mining environment.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and servicing of conveyor belt scrapers.
• Inspect conveyor belts to identify faults, wear, and damage.
• Adjust scraper heights to prevent damage to belts.
• Conduct regular maintenance of impact beds, skirting, tracking frames, and V ploughs.
• Troubleshoot, install, and commission new equipment as required.
• Provide technical advice to enhance product performance.
