Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Conveyor Belt Technician or Belt Splicer, ideally in Trades & Services.
- Strong knowledge of belt systems, splicing, maintenance and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and safety-focused approach.
- Effective communication to liaise with customers and colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair and maintain steel cord and fabric conveyor belts with safety as a priority.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair conveyor belt systems to ensure uptime.
- Perform belt splicing and joining using specialised techniques and equipment.
- Carry out maintenance and troubleshooting on belts and components.
- Provide technical guidance to customers on belt selection and operation.
- Maintain detailed records of all work and comply with safety standards.
