Job summary

Yongli Belting Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Technician to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This full-time role focuses on maintenance, repair and installation of lightweight PVC and PU conveyor belts for clients across various industries.

You will inspect, diagnose, repair belt systems, fabricate PVC/PU belts, perform preventive maintenance and install new belts, while maintaining client relationships and compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or substantial experience as a conveyor belt technician.
• Experience with lightweight PVC and PU belts.
• Strong technical troubleshooting ability.
• Knowledge of installation, maintenance and repair.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication with clients and safety commitment.

Yongli Belting Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Conveyor Belt Technician to join our team in Penrith, NSW. This is a full-time role that will involve the maintenance, repair and installation of lightweight PVC and PU conveyor belts for our clients across a range of industries.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, diagnose and repair conveyor belt systems
• Undertake fabrication in the workshop of PVC, PU and Homogenous conveyor belts to customer requirements
• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyor belts to ensure optimal operation
• Install new conveyor belts and related components
• Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical support
• Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification or significant experience as a conveyor belt technician with lightweight PVC and PU conveyor belt types
• Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Knowledge of conveyor belt systems, including installation, maintenance and repair
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients
