McKays Solicitors is seeking an experienced Conveyancer for our Cannonvale office. You will manage Queensland residential and commercial conveyancing from start to finish, coordinating with clients, real estate agents, banks and other stakeholders to ensure smooth settlements.

This role offers the opportunity to grow our conveyancing services in the Whitsundays while contributing your expertise within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing Queensland conveyancing matters, preferably from start to finish.
• Sound knowledge of Queensland property legislation, conveyancing procedures and PEXA.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional, proactive and client focused approach.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently while collaborating with the broader team.

• Manage Queensland residential and commercial conveyancing matters from initial instructions through to settlement.
• Prepare and review contracts, transfer documents, settlement statements and correspondence.
• Liaise with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions and other parties.
• Conduct property searches and manage electronic settlements through PEXA.
• Maintain accurate files, monitor deadlines and ensure transactions progress efficiently.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Conveyancer to join our Cannonvale office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys managing their own files, building strong client relationships and being part of a growing local team.

You'll be responsible for managing Queensland residential and commercial conveyancing matters from start to finish, working with clients, real estate agents, financial institutions and other stakeholders to ensure transactions progress smoothly and efficiently.

You'll have the opportunity to contribute your experience and expertise while helping establish and grow our conveyancing services in the Whitsundays.
