Job summary

Ink Recruitment in Sydney is seeking a controls testing specialist to design, supervise and execute risk-based control testing plans in collaboration with the Head of Governance & Assurance. You will support certification and audit cycles and close control gaps with IT, governance and external stakeholders.

You will run control testing, identify deficiencies and develop monitoring dashboards to track compliance metrics, while managing the issues and remediation register to timely closure.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in risk management, compliance and/or controls testing.
• Experience designing and executing risk-based control testing plans.
• Strong skills building monitoring dashboards and tracking compliance metrics.
• Experience managing issues and remediation registers to timely resolution.
• Knowledge of governance models, obligation mapping, conflicts of interest and segregation of duties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt across priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder skills and a collaborative style.

Responsibilities

• Run control testing, including walkthroughs, sampling and evidence review.
• Identify and assess control deficiencies and recommend remediation.
• Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards to track compliance metrics.
• Report regularly to the Head of Governance & Assurance on testing outcomes and issues.
• Manage the issues and remediation register through to timely closure.
• Support governance models and compliance obligation mapping.
• Lead awareness and testing across competition and conflicts of interest, segregation of duties, delegated authorities and governance models.
