Yokogawa is seeking a talented and experienced Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. If you're passionate about control systems, networking, and IoT, and have a knack for leadership and project management, this is your chance to make an impact!

Role Overview

As the Control System Engineer, you'll spearhead a team of service, project, and control systems engineers, driving excellence in project execution and client satisfaction. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your field, ensuring that complex systems are designed, developed, and delivered to the highest standards.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engineering, support, and maintenance services for Yokogawa systems, ensuring high-quality results aligned with project scopes, schedules, and standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to execute work safely, efficiently, and on time.
  • Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, addressing technical issues and managing communications.
  • Mentor graduate and junior engineers, contributing to their development.
  • Participate in on-call rosters and attend client sites as needed.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in electrical, instrumentation, mechatronics, mechanical, or chemical engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in process control and safety systems (DCS, SIS, PLC, MES).
  • Proficiency in DCS/PLC system design, system integration, and testing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and commercial acumen.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
