Job summary

ICC Sydney is seeking a professional Control Room Operator to join our Security Department on a full-time basis. You will monitor CCTV, manage access control, and coordinate incident responses across multiple stakeholders.

The role requires you to stay composed, provide practical solutions, and maintain vigilance over ICC Sydney assets. You will work a 4 day on/4 day off rotating roster with 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of security experience is desirable.
• NSW Security Licence 1A required.
• First Aid Certificate required.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate required.
• Valid working rights in Australia required.
• You must be 18 years or older.

About this opportunity:

ICC Sydney are looking for a professional, enthusiastic and operationally savvy Control Room Operator to join our Security Department on a full-time basis. You will play a crucial role within the Security team from managing multiple moving parts and a vast array of stakeholders, including monitoring CCTV, managing access control and ensuring effective coordination of incident responses. You will handle interactions in a composed, respectful and diplomatic way, providing advice and solutions to suit the situation while maintaining vigilance over ICC Sydney assets. This role will suit a Security professional looking for that next step in Security Operations. You enjoy a work pace and focus that changes from shift to shift. You are a naturally composed, pragmatic person and a natural and logical communicator able to put process and procedure into operational action and tangible results. This role works across a 4 day on, 4 day off (2 day shifts, 2 overnight shifts) rotating roster comprising of 12-hour shifts.
