Job summary

Mesh & Bar in Glendenning, NSW, seeks an experienced Contracts Administrator and Projects Lead to own the contractual and commercial delivery on major construction and infrastructure projects.

You will review contracts, manage variations and claims, mitigate risk, and ensure alignment with tender through final payment, while collaborating with Sales, Estimating, Operations, Finance and our Group Legal team for high‑risk matters.

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing contracts and managing variations, claims and payment terms.
• Ability to identify liquidated damages, indemnities and insurance terms.
• Experience with Tier 1/2 contractors in construction materials is advantageous.
• Current driver's license required.
• Strong written communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review customer contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks across projects.
• Prepare risk summaries and proposed amendments.
• Negotiate commercial outcomes with customers and escalate complex matters.
• Manage variations, payment claims and notices.
• Lead contractual handover across Sales, Estimating, Detailing, Production and Logistics.
• Monitor scope changes and price movements for variations.
• Attend project meetings and site visits.
• Maintain contract registers and commercial records.
• Provide management with visibility of contract risk, variations, claims and cash flow.
