Job summary

Connex Solutions in Adelaide seeks a hands-on Contracts Administration professional to manage claims, variations, and final accounts across live projects. You will work with project managers and site teams, gaining visibility across commercial and delivery sides of the business.

This role offers growth toward senior contracts or commercial management, with exposure across a full lifecycle and a newly expanding commercial function in a growing telecommunications and electrical services business.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracts administration is highly desired.
• Confident with numbers and comfortable juggling deadlines across multiple projects.
• Strong Excel skills with a drive to continuously develop and improve.
• A clear communicator who can hold a firm line with subcontractors while maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and submission of progress claims and client invoicing.
• Assessment of subcontractor progress claims and processing of payments.
• Tracking project expenditure against budget and maintaining cost reports.
• Evaluating contract change orders, pricing variations, and extension of time claims.
• Drafting scopes of work and preparing subcontractor agreements.
• Issuing site instructions and maintaining a clear, auditable paper trail.
• Monitoring compliance with quality benchmarks, safety standards and key risk items.
• Liaising between clients, project managers, head contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues.
