Job summary

Downer is seeking a Contracts Administrator based at Brisbane Airport, Queensland Maintenance & ITS. This permanent role will see you owning end-to-end contract administration from pre-contract activities through to successful project outcomes.

You will support procurement strategies, manage contract documentation including variations, EOTs and claims, and contribute to project handovers with delivery leaders. A collaborative, safety-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Contract Administrator or similar.
• Strong understanding of contract terms and conditions.
• Experience managing post-contract deliverables and close-out.
• Experience in construction programming and scheduling.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• A collaborative, team-oriented approach with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement strategies and supplier RFQs.
• Prepare and manage contract documentation, variations, EOTs and claims.
• Contribute to project handovers and commercial management plans.
• Identify risks and support dispute resolution with stakeholders.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
