Job summary

Tp Human Capital is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to support the delivery of low to mid-rise commercial building projects in Townsville. You will work with Project Managers and Site Managers to manage contracts, procurement, and financial performance across multi-stage developments.

The role offers exposure to the full project lifecycle and opportunities to progress toward Project Management as your experience grows. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial construction contract administration.
• Exposure to low- to mid-rise building projects.
• Strong understanding of procurement, subcontracts, progress claims and variations.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor and supplier tendering, procurement and negotiations.
• Prepare and administer subcontracts, purchase orders and contract documentation.
• Assess progress claims, variations and payment schedules.
• Monitor project budgets, committed costs and financial performance.
• Prepare cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Manage contractual correspondence, notices and claims.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and consultants.
• Assist with procurement planning and trade package coordination.
• Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.
• Support project close-out, final accounts and handover requirements.
• Take on broader project delivery responsibilities as experience develops.
