Job summary

Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is seeking a Contract Administrator to support the delivery of major power, infrastructure and energy projects across Australia.

Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and delivery teams, you’ll administer head contracts and subcontracts, manage variations and claims, and help protect EPSA’s commercial position.

This role offers exposure to EPC projects and a clear path to grow within a growing national business.

Qualifications

  • Experience in contract administration within construction or EPC environments.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, variations, claims and commercial processes.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts, analyse complex situations and identify risks.

Responsibilities

  • Administer head contracts and subcontracts across multiple projects nationally.
  • Manage contractual notices, variations, claims and entitlement submissions.
  • Support progress claims, payment schedules and subcontractor claim assessments.
  • Maintain contract registers, compliance documentation and contract records.
  • Assist with subcontractor administration, procurement processes and risk management.

About the role

As a Contract Administrator, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of major power, infrastructure and energy projects across Australia.

Working closely with Project Managers, Commercial Managers and project delivery teams, you'll help administer complex contracts, manage contractual obligations and support commercial outcomes across a national portfolio of projects. From variations and claims management through to subcontractor administration and contract compliance, you'll be a key contributor in protecting EPSA's commercial position and enabling successful project delivery.

This role offers exposure to high-value EPC, energy and infrastructure projects, providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced commercial and project professionals while building a long-term career within a growing business.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to!):

  • Administer head contracts and subcontracts across multiple projects nationally

  • Manage contractual notices, variations, claims and entitlement submissions

  • Support progress claims, payment schedules and subcontractor claim assessments

  • Maintain contract registers, compliance documentation and contract records

  • Assist with subcontractor administration, procurement processes and risk management

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who brings both strong commercial capability and a collaborative mindset.

Required:

  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce or a related discipline

  • Experience in contract administration within construction, infrastructure, energy, industrial or EPC environments

  • Strong understanding of contract administration, variations, claims and commercial processes

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret contracts, analyse complex situations and identify risks

  • Experience administering major projects valued between $50M and $150M+

Highly regarded:

  • Knowledge of Australian standard forms of contract including AS4000, AS4902, NEC or FIDIC

  • Experience working for Tier 1, Tier 2 or major EPC contractors on the contractor/supplier side

  • Experience in power generation, mining, industrial or large infrastructure projects

  • Familiarity with Procore, ERP systems and project controls environments
