Job summary

Alcoa Australia is seeking a Senior Contractor Services Coordinator to join our Pinjarra Refinery on a Monday-to-Friday roster. You will coordinate major contractor works and partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve safety, cost, schedule and operational performance.

As a member of the Contractor Services leadership team, you will lead complex work groups, manage field and safety audits, and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, operations, project delivery or contract management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and contractor work groups safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of project management, budgeting and works planning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A trade or professional qualification in an electrical, mechanical or related maintenance discipline is highly regarded; a PM qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contractor works safely and within scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, internal teams and resources through planning, execution and close-out.
• Manage budgets and work planning for the cranes contract in partnership with Operations, Maintenance and Production.
• Lead field and safety audits to ensure contractor activities meet site standards.
• Identify practical improvements in contractor safety, productivity and cost performance.
