Job summary

Alcoa in Pinjarra, WA, seeks a Contractor Services leader to coordinate major contractor works and drive safety, efficiency and performance across crane-related projects. You will work with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and adherence to site standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, operations, project delivery or contract management; contractor management of overhead cranes is highly regarded.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees and contractor work groups safely and effectively.
• Knowledge of project management, budgeting and works planning.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A trade or professional qualification in an electrical, mechanical or related maintenance discipline is highly regarded; a project management qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver contractor works safely and within scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.
• Coordinate contractors, internal teams and resources through planning, execution and close-out.
• Manage budgets and work planning for the cranes contract in partnership with Operations, Maintenance and Production.
• Lead field and safety audits to ensure contractor activities meet site standards.
• Identify practical improvements in contractor safety, productivity and cost performance.
