Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Contract Specialist to work remotely. You will draft, review, and refine a range of commercial agreements including MSAs, leases, IP licensing, and marketing contracts, ensuring alignment with legal standards and practical business use cases.

You will also contribute to AI training datasets with high-quality documents and maintain clear, professional communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Law degree and bar admission in the applicable jurisdiction.
• Experience drafting MSAs, leases, IP and marketing contracts.
• Ability to tailor documents for practical, real-world use.

Responsibilities

Scope Of Work

• Draft, review, and provide high-quality templates, samples, and annotated examples of the following agreement types:
• Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
• Lease Agreements
• Intellectual Property (IP) Licensing Agreements
• Marketing Agreements
• Licensing Agreements
• Ensure all agreements reflect current legal standards, industry best practices, and practical commercial use cases.
• Submit well-structured, high-quality documents that contribute to the project's AI training dataset.
• Communicate promptly and professionally, both in writing and verbally, to clarify requirements and deliverables as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Practicing or recently qualified commercial attorney with exposure to contract drafting and negotiation.
• Working knowledge of standard commercial agreements, including MSAs, lease agreements, IP and marketing contracts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and accuracy in contractual language.
• Demonstrated ability to create or adapt legal documents for practical, real-world scenarios.
• Experience with remote collaboration and delivering assignments autonomously.
• Detail-oriented approach to ensure agreements comply with relevant laws and best practices.
• Interest or background in legal operations, technology, or AI-enabled platforms is a plus.
