Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking a Contract Specialist - Major Projects to join our Engineering & Technical team in Dandenong South. You will provide hands-on commercial and contract management support across a varied portfolio of engineering and infrastructure projects, with exposure to tendering and supplier performance.

You will work with project managers, engineers and corporate teams to develop clear scopes, evaluate submissions, and manage contracts from tender through delivery,

Qualificações

• Experience preparing tenders, evaluating submissions and supporting statements of work.
• In-depth knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, extensions of time and dispute resolution.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to assess project costs and contractual risk.
• Experience in infrastructure, construction, oil & gas or related engineering environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and manage end-to-end tenders for project packages valued below $1 million, with Procurement.
• Define clear scopes and statements of work for contractors with project teams.
• Review tender submissions and support contractor selection.
• Manage contract administration, variations, extensions of time, claims and disputes.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and deliverables.
• Contribute to contracting strategies and supplier panel decisions on lump-sum or schedule-of-rates.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, HSE and project teams to manage commercial risk.
