Job summary

DXC Technology Company in Sydney is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain Azure data pipelines, data warehouses, and data marts to enable reliable reporting and informed decisions.

You will leverage your five-plus years in SQL Server and Azure Data Factory, collaborate with Product Owners, and ensure delivery across development, SIT, UAT, and production using Git and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SQL Server experience.
• 5+ years as Azure ADF Data Engineer in DW environments.
• Strong expertise in ADF, Azure SQL Database and T-SQL.
• Experience designing data warehouses and data marts.
• Proficient in Git and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ADF ETL/ELT pipelines for DW/Data Mart.
• Build metadata-driven loading frameworks and batch processes.
• Implement data quality and validation controls.
• Develop and optimise SQL scripts and T-SQL procedures.
• Test, document and deploy via Git/Azure DevOps across environments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on requirements and designs.
