Job summary

Quayclean is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of cleaning and operational services at the University of Tasmania in Launceston. You will own day-to-day performance, leading Cleaners, Team Leaders and Supervisors to ensure safe, high-quality services.

This hands-on leadership role requires customer focus, strong people leadership and the ability to balance service delivery with safety, compliance and commercial performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading operational teams, ideally across multiple locations.
• Experience within cleaning, facilities management or similar service-based environments.
• Strong client and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Excellent project management, workforce planning and organisational capability.
• Experience monitoring budgets, financial performance and operational results.

About the Role

Quayclean is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to lead the delivery of our cleaning and operational services at the University of Tasmania in Launceston.

Reporting to the Senior Contract Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day performance of the contract, leading a team of Cleaners, Team Leaders and Supervisors to deliver safe, consistent and high-quality services.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role requiring a strong customer focus, excellent people leadership and the ability to balance service delivery with safety, compliance and commercial performance.

You will be an experienced operational leader who enjoys being close to both the customer and your team. You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
