Job summary

Melbourne Park is seeking a Contract Manager – Presentation Services to join the Precinct Operations team. You will lead the operational management of cleaning, waste, pest control and related service contracts to ensure world-class presentation, cleanliness and hygiene across event and non-event operations, including the Australian Open.

You will collaborate with venue teams, service providers and stakeholders to drive performance, sustainability, continuous improvement and value-for-money

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning, waste, pest control and related service contracts across Melbourne Park.
• Oversee service delivery and performance across event and non-event modes, including the Australian Open.
• Manage contract KPIs, budgets, audits, reporting and compliance requirements.
• Support procurement, tendering and contract management processes.
• Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, Tennis Australia, contractors and service providers.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency and value for money.
• Drive waste diversion, sustainability and environmental initiatives across the precinct with a focus on the Australian Open.
• Provide advice to venue teams and service departments on cleaning, waste and presentation requirements.
• Coordinate pre- and post-event cleaning inspections, reporting and corrective actions.
• Support operational projects and contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a collaborative Contract Manager – Presentation Services to join the Precinct Operations team at Melbourne Park. Reporting to the Director of Australian Open and Precinct Operations, you will lead the operational management of cleaning, waste management, pest control and related service contracts across the Precinct.

You will play a key role in ensuring Melbourne Park maintains world-class presentation, cleanliness and hygiene standards across both event and non-event operations, including the Australian Open. Working closely with venue teams, service providers and key stakeholders, you will drive contract performance, sustainability initiatives, continuous improvement and value-for-money outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cleaning, waste, pest control and related service contracts across Melbourne Park.
• Oversee service delivery and performance across event and non-event modes, including the Australian Open.
• Manage contract KPIs, budgets, audits, reporting and compliance requirements.

ABOUT YOU

You are an experienced contract management professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment. You have strong stakeholder management skills, an eye for detail and a practical, solutions-focused approach to delivering high-quality outcomes.

You have:

• Extensive experience managing service-based contracts, ideally within facilities management, major events, venues or similar environments.
• Strong contract, financial and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing service providers and driving performance against KPIs.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues and develop practical solutions.
• Experience preparing accurate reports and managing budgets and compliance requirements.
• A strong understanding of operational delivery, with a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• High-level computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Monday.com.
