Job summary

Qulture seeks a dynamic Contract Manager to oversee clients in the disability sector. You will manage contracts at a wholesale level, ensuring safe, efficient delivery across multiple sites and maintaining strong relationships with the client and trades.

The role emphasizes accountability, leadership, and financial stewardship. You will bridge on-site operations with executive-level discussions, ensuring contractual outcomes, KPI achievement and high standards of safety and service across the FM

Qualifications

• Technical foundation from a trade background in building/carpentry, electrical or plumbing.
• Proven experience as an Account Manager or Senior Facilities Manager in construction or facilities environments.
• Experience working in live, occupied, sensitive settings such as disability, aged care or healthcare.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with executives and tradespeople.
• Leadership of teams across multiple sites with high accountability.

Responsibilities

• Account & stakeholder management as the primary client contact at all levels.
• Deliver transparent KPI reporting and ensure contractual KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Provide technical oversight by reviewing quotes, scopes and work orders for accuracy.
• Lead a team to drive accountability, efficiency and high performance.
• Monitor budgets and resource allocation to protect profitability without compromising safety.

Job description

One of Qulture’s clients is looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Contract Manager to oversee clients in the disability sector.

You’ll be operating at a contract level, overseeing everything, rather than working on individual projects. You'll take full responsibility for:

• Facilities Maintenance expertise
• Operational leadership
• Client accountability

There will be multiple and varied sites with a requirement for works to be delivered safely, efficiently and respectfully, in line with contractual and commercial outcomes.

About the Role

• Account & Stakeholder Management: Be the primary point of contact for the client, building strong, trusted relationships at every level.
• KPI & Reporting: Deliver transparent, timely reporting and make sure all contractual KPIs are consistently met and exceeded.
• Technical Oversight: Review and validate quotes, work scopes and work orders, ensuring technical accuracy across the FM trade services being delivered
• Team Leadership: Lead a team driving accountability, efficiency and high performance.
• Financial Stewardship: Monitor budgets and resource allocation to protect profitability without compromising quality or safety.

About You

• Technical Foundation: A trade background in building/carpentry, electrical or plumbing is essential. You’re equally credible talking to tradespeople on site and to executives in the boardroom.
• Proven Experience: You’ve succeeded as an Account Manager or Senior Facilities Manager at a senior level in construction or facilities environments. You can manage complexity without unnecessary escalation or loss of control.
• Sensitive Environments: You bring a mature, solutions-focused approach to working in live, occupied and sensitive settings, such as disability, aged care or healthcare.
• Exceptional Stakeholder Skills: You read people well and adapt your style. You stay calm and composed under pressure and can manage demanding, direct or protective stakeholders while keeping relationships positive and outcomes on track. You know the art of under promising and over delivering.
• Portfolio Management: You’ve managed multiple concurrent sites and a high volume of minor-to-medium-scale works.
• Professional Communication: Your written and verbal skills are excellent
• Leadership: You lead and motivate people with different personalities and working styles.
