Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking a dedicated GIS professional for the client’s IT team at the Western Sydney head office. The role focuses on delivering GIS and IT projects, supporting the GIS Manager, and integrating with reporting and BI applications.

You will work on web mapping, back-end development with .NET/Java, and data interpretation of geospatial data, LiDAR, and cloud platforms. A Diploma in Spatial Science or related degree is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Spatial Science or higher, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with GeoServer and ArcGIS, including web services.
• Strong back-end development in .NET and/or Java.
• Ability to code in OpenLayers, JavaScript, Python, HTML5/CSS, XML, JSON and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS and IT solutions for critical business needs.
• Provide SME support to the GIS Manager and integrate with BI/reporting apps.
