Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking Talented GIS Specialists in Sydney to create and analyze maps of flora and fauna. You will work with ArcMap 10.7, ArcGIS, and ArcPro to process aerial photographs, GPS data, and client shapefiles, delivering precise habitat maps for environmental projects.

The role emphasizes spatial data analysis, data management, and collaboration within a team to meet client deadlines and regulatory requirements.

• Create maps in ArcMap 10.7 showing surveyed flora and fauna using aerial photographs as well as GPS data
• Analyze spatial data from different data sources (aerials, dxf, shape files) to ensure effective and timely delivery of fauna, flora and habitat maps
• Collect and import client’s data (development footprints (dxf) and aerial photographs)
• Provide spatial analysis of map data (area calculations, intersection, overlays, buffers, etc)
• Prepare spatial data for clients and Department of Environment
• Data management and filing systems

Your Experience

• Strong knowledge of ArcMap 10 and ArcGIS
