Job summary

Singleton Preschool Inc. is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a fixed-term contract from 1 February 2027 to 18 December 2027, with view to permanency for the right applicant, based in Singleton, NSW 2330.

Qualifications

• Recognised early childhood teaching qualification.
• Current WWCC clearance or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or commitment to obtaining.
• Strong knowledge of National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Demonstrated ability to create inclusive, developmentally appropriate learning environments.
• Excellent communication with children, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to safeguarding children's wellbeing and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Completion of National Mandatory Child Safety Training CHCPRT025.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Create safe, inclusive classrooms supporting all learners.
• Observe and assess progress and communicate with parents.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure consistency with frameworks and policies.
• Maintain attendance and progress records per regulatory requirements.
• Support health, safety and wellbeing, including first aid when needed.
