Job summary

City of Tea Tree Gully is seeking a Contracts Delivery Officer in Adelaide to manage programmed and ad-hoc works through contracted services. You will act as Superintendent's Representative, lead procurement for quotes and tenders, and ensure contractor performance aligns with policy and contract frameworks.

The role requires strong contract management, stakeholder engagement, negotiation and planning skills, plus IT proficiency and relevant cards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret contracts.

• High level planning and prioritising to meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Competent IT skills enabling use of corporate systems.
• Construction Industry White Card.
• DHS Working with Children check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan, procure, deliver and monitor programmed, preventative maintenance, compliance and ad-hoc works for Council facilities and external spaces through the engagement of contractors.
• Act as Superintendent's Representative and administer contracts.
• Contract management and contractor performance oversight.
• Adhere to Council's Procurement Policy and Contract Management Framework.
• Prepare and lead the procurement process for RFQ and RFT documents.
• Consult with other departments / teams of Council and amongst the Contracted Services team to prepare relevant documents.
• Oversee contractor performance and identify continuous improvement options.
